Hello Lizzie, after 5 months my business instagram page has been. Hacked yesterday I was able to getting it back 💖🙏🏻🎈 it is possible I can’t believe it but I got back!!! ❤

I spent years of work and all got hacked and all my work was ruined meta or instagram won’t help :-(((( I get feeling instagram is a Joke I am so stress and depressed 😔

No way to go no one can help me

Meta promised to get my ig account back but now the just informing me /-( hacker still have my account they change my name and phone number :-(

This just happened to my account, and IG did nothing to help me, after 2 weeks I submitted another selfie video and got back in in literally one minute! I never thought I’d see my account again… it’s was so stressful!!

I am so sorry to hear, I really do hope you are able to recover your account. There should be help available from these faceless corporations, it should be law. I can`t say here what I think of these hackers and criminals but I hope one day the law catches up with them. My thoughts are with you Lizzie, take care.

Feel your pain! Rant on! Followed your new account on IG. I'm from Sweden, and over here we've hade a big hack just last week, thousands of accounts, a lot of people in similar situation as yours (Netflix, PayPal etc). But in the long run, idk, maybe move to your own platform? I just have never ever heard of anyone with a positive experience of dealing with Meta (used to work for a photographer who worked for Meta, it was horrible for my employer to get in touch with them too...). Anyway, you are the best, so whatever you decided for the future, I'm sure people will follow you! Lots of love!

I wondered why you had disappeared over the weekend. I think this horrendous that you have been hacked and that Meta has given no support. I don’t have a contact at meta. I will follow Lizzie Edward’s style straight away. I think the Internet really exposes us to all forms of predators in ways that a lot of us have not ever imagined. I’m really sorry about the frustration you’ve had to go through and all of the valuable networks that have been lost. I want to say that your RUclips channels and content have very much supported me through challenging periods and I really value the time and energy that you spend on this. But I completely understand if it’s no longer worthwhile, especially when businesses like yours are left adrift and over exposed by the system. Meta needs to be accountable for the networks they have enabled both ethically and legally.

Looking presentable is so important, it shows how you feel about yourself. You don’t have to spend a fortune on your wardrobe but putting yourself together when you go out is essential. It helps you with your confidence, and definitely a better state of mind. You only get one chance to make a good impression! But this has to be about being yourself not someone else. It’s about being the best version of you. Don’t be a follower be a leader.

After watching this video, it inspired me to put a little more effort to my style and as a result I got compliments from the group of women I was meeting with, they said “you look younger” and my intention was to look more “put together” thank you.

Hi Lizzie I really enjoyed this chat session. I laughed when you talked about the push for color as someone who wears it, but sparing, this really hit home. My problem with clothes isn’t I don’t know my style or what I like-I do. I just can’t find the clothes that match it. I spend hours attempting to find something as simple as a black blazer or layering tees but come up empty. The items I once loved did exist but no longer do and my older but much loved items have seen better days. Does anyone else have this problem? Shopping the last 10-15 years has been the hardest I’ve ever had in all my shopping life. My style is simple, classic with clothes tailored but not too. Goldielock clothes, they did exist!!!but have gone extinct.

The point about your Mum dressing you is a real thing. I bought a pair of jeans at Christmas £45 in M&S. Dark wash cargos, wide leg. Really smart and tailored even though they're cargos ( I'm nearly 57). My Mum said, you need your brains testing, spending £45 on a pair of jeans. You can get some in Sainsburys for £20!

I really enjoyed this Podcast, when Lizzie taiks about always making and effort, I think it is often easier said than done, but when i do, it is true, I feel so much better in myself. I am retired but on occasion, when a friend of mine goes on holiday, I work in her estate agency business, she works from home, but spends a high proportion of the week meeting prospective clients, surveyors and potential buyers, so I have taught myself to always dress in her home office the same as I would when meeting people, even if I know I am not going to be going out that day, So even if I am just talking to people on the phone, or sending emails, I am in a motivated work mode.

I thankfully have matured to the point i only get items in sales ive specifically veen looking for. On the off chance i buy an unplanned item it is always returnable and part of a planned purchase, typically an item ive been considering but not "sold on" yet.

Great advice. I really dislike the way brands bombard with emails even if you google something. I have been getting adverts from LongTall Sally for ever. They still keep sending emails even though i unsubscribe every time, there is no way I would have ever gone on their website as I am 5'2! I am much better now at not buying clothes in sales unless I have seen them and waited for the reduction.

I did the same. I've sold clothes I didn't wear anymore and bought two pairs of quality shoes and three Sezane jumpers, all on Vinted.

With Vinted I find it’s a good idea to know what you like and the silhouettes and sizes in those brands. When I put some weight on I found it useful to do a recce by going to the stores I liked and trying on various items, taking photos etc and then searching for similar on Vinted. It has helped massively with getting things on a Vinted that I am going to keep. Also knowing your measurements and asking the sellers helps a lot. I’ve also downloaded Open Wardrobe and uploaded by whole wardrobe. It was time consuming but now it is invaluable. I can load up outfit photos, create different outfit ideas and link my Pinterest photos to the outfits I’ve created. It’s really helped me to have fun with my wardrobe and stay away from the social media pull to buy more new things. I have a catalogue of outfit ideas I can pull from when I’m not sure what to wear. 😊

I am 5'2" and considerable myself very fashionable and seem to know what looks good on me. Trouble is this...I'm terrible at picking out the right shoes for my outfits. I want to be taller but am babying my feet right now and have had to give away tons of high heels. I have no problem in the summer because of sandals, wedges, etc. And in the winter when wearing jeans I wear ankle boots. I guess it's shoes for dresses to church in the fall and winter. Any suggestions? Thanks!
